The summer of 2000, David, Gayla, and friend Scott Clark from Ohio, took a vacation to Las Vegas and on to LA. Here are a few pics from Las Vegas! Some of these are stills, others are video grabs, so the quality isn't as good on those.

The Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton

Even if you are just a casual viewer of Star Trek, you have to check this out if ever in Las Vegas. Not only do they have a complete Trek museum there, the ride itself is incredible. It's a combination of full immersion sets, ride, and live actors. I won't spoil the main part itself, but if you didn't know better, you would swear you had transported up to the Enterprise D! Plus they don't allow video or photography during that part, so nothing from that here. When it's over you are dumped into Deep Space Nine with themed restaurants and actors in character. The food was actually good too.

Unfortunately, it was so hot that you got tired just walking across the street, so we didn't get to see many of the things we wanted to, and driving anywhere around there is crazy! I don't recommend going to Vegas in the middle of the summer!
