I'm glad you went on home and got some seriously needed sleep. I can say that being one that has had major sleep issues for many years. They delayed the start of the fireworks for some reason. Heck, it was closer to midnight by the time we got back home to my folks' house in Lubbock. But, the parade was fun along with checking out the street fair. Not all was lost.
