Global Warming Causes Apocalyptic Wind Event in Texas

Either that or someone’s computer is being naughty.  I clipped the above image from the Lubbock National Weather Service page.

I’ve complained about the west Texas wind on here a few times, but winds 110mph gusting to 125 is a bit much now!

That is hilarious! I HATE wind. (Yes, I realize I live in the completely wrong part of the world to hate wind) I guess if it was going to happen anywhere, it’d happen here, right?

I hate the wind too, except maybe the rotating kind, but I despise dust west Texas dust storms!

David, about a month ago we had the same thing happen out of the Tallahassee NWS office, but ours was showing the forecasted temps to be around zero for the week! it would be nice to see that with temps now around 95!

Out here with winds like that, everything would be sandblasted into nothingness. Talk about getting sand in your craw! LOL!! (That’s some pretty deep Texanese for you non-Texans out there…lol)
